Modern adaptation technologies for children with disabilities in Bishkek

Modern adaptation technologies for children with disabilities in Bishkek

Apake Foundation helps children with disabilities in Bishkek!

We are implementing a project in  the “Children's Development Center” in Bishkek. Now this Center will have its own sensory room for practicing and rehabilitating young visitors. Sessions in the sensory room positively impact the most delicate sphere of human life - psychological.

The issue of maintaining preschool children with serious illnesses that limit physical and intellectual development, unfortunately, remains relevant in our country. As of today, there are about 29 thousands of registered children with disabilities, of whom 6 thousands are children with severe developmental disorders.

We will provide the Rehabilitation Center for Special Children with a modern sensory room, which will allow support for about 50 children with diseases such as Down syndrome, hearing impairments, mental retardation, and autism spectrum disorders. On the basis of modern technologies and special sensory equipment, the Director, Saida Abdukadyrova, together with the teachers of the Center, plan to conduct classes free of charge for all children who need to maintain the quality of their health. The total cost of organizing a sensory room in the Bishkek Center was 200 thousand soms. We thank you, our social donors, for your donations and active assistance, and we guarantee the targeted use of each of your contributions!
